SYNOPSIS:
Raoul and Emma Jones went to Australia for their summer holiday. But unfortunately, they went to the wrong Sydney: Sydney in Canada! They decided to stay there and enjoy their holidays anyway. During their holidays they met a nice Canadian couple, Josh and Kate Chapman.
One night, they decided to go out with them. Everything was all right but next morning when Emma got up, she found Raoul in bed…dead
CHARACTER OBJECTIVES:
1) Raoul Jones: Raoul wants to enjoy his holiday in Sydney, Australia. But he goes to the wrong Sydney. The one in Canada! Ha wants to enjoy his trip anyway but, in the meantime, he discovers Emma has a lover…
2) Emma Jones: she doesn’t love Raoul anymore and she wants to divorce him, but she decides to tell him after their holiday in Sydney, Raoul dream holiday.
3) Josh Chapman: he is a doctor who works in Sydney, Canada. Apparently, he just wants to meet knew people and make new friends.
4) Kate Chapman: she is Josh’s wife. Like her husband, it appears that she just wants to make new friends and get to know Raoul and Emma better.
5) Inspector Roosevelt: he only wants to know who killed Raoul and why.
SCENE BREAKDOWN:
SCENE 1:
Raoul and Emma (winter clothes on) booking cheap tickets to Australia on the Internet.
SCENE 2:
Raoul and Emma on the plane. Very excited about their holiday.
After just seven hours they land in Sydney (looking at their watches).
SCENE 3:
They talk to the hostess at the airport and ask. They are not in Sydney, Australia, but in Sydney, Canada! They decided to stay there and enjoy their holidays anyway.
SCENE 4:
(In a typically Canadian bar) Raoul and Emma get to know a couple who lives there: Josh and Kate Chapman. They seem to have a great time together and decide to meet the next day for dinner.
SCENE 5:
(In a Chinese restaurant) All four people having dinner and laughing about the story about their flight.
SCENE 6:
(In a disco) Dancing and chatting animatedly. Raoul and Emma say bye and take a taxi to the hotel.
SCENE 7:
(In the hotel room) Emma can’t sleep and decides to have a long bath (we can see her in the bath).
SCENE 8:
(In the morning) Emma gets up at about 8.30 and finds Raoul dead in bed.
SCENE 9:
(In the hotel room) Inspector Roosevelt comes and questions Emma.
SCENE 10:
(At their home) Inspector Roosevelt questions Mr. and Ms.Chapman.
